Use a Sharpie marker to "recolor" a mini light bulb that's lost its color.

 

A miscellaneous bulb that looks white or faded can sometimes stand out.  Use a Sharpie permanent marker of the same color on the bulb to bring the color back.  It won't last forever, but it will get you through until you can replace the bulb or get some colorcaps.
