Fallen leaves make the best stuffing for scarecrows.

 

We use leaves in all of our scarecrows.

  • They're free
  • We have a LOT of them in the fall so its easy to get as much as we need
  • They are water resistant
  • We were going to get rid of them anyway
  • If I can't see them, I don't have to rake them

When Halloween is over we just walk them back to the mulch pile and let them spill their guts.
